The premium is the only pipe that reliably reaches every household. No steering logic, no climate impact, no connection. A plumbing decision. They asked where a pipe already existed and then connected the climate there. This isn't a footnote. This is the entire climate policy in a single accounting entry.

The country that condemns its elderly cools

The man who knew everything in 1998

This brings us full circle. Corruption doesn't prove that physics is fake. It proves that politics is fake. Half the country believes that correct physics leads to correct politics. The other half believes that deceitful politics leads to false physics. Both sides avoid doing the math and both pay the same taxes.

Humans have survived every climate fluctuation of the past hundred thousand years because they adapted. They moved, they built, they rearranged. They never tried to tax the Earth's orbital inclination. Calder knew this in 1998 and was laughed at. The auditor in Shandong knows it and collects the taxes. The finance minister knows it and expects you to be tired.
