Since 2021, Bill Gates has publicly called for all wealthy countries to switch entirely to synthetic beef – if necessary, through regulation. Four years later, two US bioethics professors at Western Michigan University published a paper in the journal Bioethics entitled "Beneficial Bloodsucking," providing the ethical justification for an operation that has long been underway in the US: Genetically modified Lone Star ticks are distributing Alpha-Gal syndrome across the American population – purely by chance, of course.

Beneficial Bloodsucking: Funding the simultaneous genetic engineering of ticks, lab-grown meat, and antibiotics has a business model.

What the ethics professors are really demanding
Parker Crutchfield and Blake Hereth argue in their July 2025 publication (Bioethics, Volume 39, pages 772–781In essence: Meat consumption is morally impermissible, therefore it is not only permitted, but "strongly obligatory" to actively promote the spread of the Alpha-Gal syndrome transmitted by Lone Star ticks. The threshold for a severe case, in at least one documented US case fatal For these men, a meat allergy is on the same level as a measles vaccination.

Original quote: The capacity needs to be developed, the genetically modified ticks need to be released. Because a state-mandated compulsory vaccination faces "normative hurdles," the allergy is simply released "naturally" into the environment via genetically optimized arachnids. The authors call this a "moral bioenhancer" and base their argument on their self-constructed "convergence argument": If an action doesn't worsen the world, doesn't violate anyone's rights, and promotes virtuous behavior, then it is absolutely necessary. They conveniently ignore the fact that an allergy that can trigger anaphylaxis infringes on the right to bodily integrity by definition: After all, it's just an "intervention," not a "violation."

When contacted by College Fix, Crutchfield immediately backtracked: it was all just a "thought experiment," not a concrete demand. A thought experiment whose methodology, legal justification, and implementation logic he elaborates on in ten pages in a peer-reviewed bioethics journal. These are the lines of defense when a proposal hoists itself over the railing of any reasonable debate on the rule of law.

The Gates-Oxitec trail
Anyone who now considers this the academic ramblings of two eccentric provincial professors hasn't been paying attention in recent years. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has been funding a program by the British biotech company since 2021. Oxytec, which genetically engineers a different tick species – the Asian blue cattle tick, Rhipicephalus microplus – with a "self-limiting gene." The first tranche was just over $1,4 million, with another $4,8 million following successful efficacy reporting in June 2023. The same method – male ticks with the self-limiting gene – is not just theoretical: Releases of the gene into Aedes aegypti mosquitoes have been underway in Florida and Texas with EPA approval since March 2022. The technology is not hypothetical, but is already in use.

The fact-checking choreography
Then the usual choreography unfolds. PolitiFact, Verificat, and mimikama.org all write in lockstep: The Oxitec tick is a different species, it was never released, and a direct link to the AGS wave is "scientifically impossible." Sounds neat. But it overlooks the fact that the research infrastructure is in place, the methodology works, and, in parallel, a peer-reviewed journal declares a moral obligation to release the tick. Anyone who juxtaposes these two strands of information gets labeled "debunked fake news" by the system, while those who keep them neatly separate are allowed to continue their research, funding, and publishing articles.

Beneficial Bloodsucking: Funding the simultaneous genetic engineering of ticks, lab-grown meat, and antibiotics has a business model.

The tick is migrating northwards.
While the debate continues, the Lone Star tick is indeed migrating northward. CDC Documenting over 110,000 suspected cases of congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) between 2010 and 2022, the number of unreported cases is estimated at around 450,000. In 2025, a man in New Jersey demonstrably died of alpha-gal anaphylaxis after eating a hamburger. Studies report Lone Starling sightings in California, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Montana, and North Dakota—regions where the species cannot originally survive. The migration is attributed to "warmer temperatures." Convenient, this climate—it provides a universal excuse for every unpleasant spread dynamic. The French infectious disease specialist Christian Perronne publicly suggests that the current invasion cannot be explained without genetically modified specimens. In official discourse, this is considered a dissenting voice—for any scientist who deviates from the consensus narrative, the system has a suitable disqualification ready.

The investment connection
Gates' portfolio, meanwhile, reads like a Business plan for own climate forecastInvestments in Beyond Meat, Impossible Foods, Upside Foods, and Good Meat. A leading position as the largest private farmland owner in the US. Shares in pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer, whose doxycycline is the standard antibiotic for tick-borne diseases in the US. Since 2017, over one million dollars have also flowed through the foundation to Ceres Nanosciences, a diagnostics specialist for Lyme disease. So, anyone who sells the synthetic burger, researches genetically modified ticks, simultaneously co-finances the diagnostics of tick-borne diseases, and profits from antibiotics has—entirely without malicious intent, of course—a vertically integrated business model at their fingertips.

There is no direct causal proof that the Lone Star ticks biting today originated in an Oxitec lab. It would be surprising if those involved were to voluntarily present such proof. What does exist, however, is this: an investor with a vested interest in the demise of the beef industry, tick genetic engineering financed by the same investor, a concurrent CDC increase in a disease whose only significant consequence is beef intolerance – and an academic bioethics publication that promotes precisely this spread as a moral obligation. In any other field, this would be called a chain of circumstantial evidence; here, it's called a conspiracy theory. That's the trick: separate the strands, and you're left with harmless individual measures; combine them, and they form a business model that the EUdSSR elites, with their climate doctrine, are only too happy to adopt as the next European pilot project.

An institution that allows the mandatory release of genetically modified disease carriers to be published in scientific journals, instead of removing the authors from the lecture hall, does so—and calls it "academic freedom." Those who simultaneously fund tick genetic engineering, lab-grown meat, and tick-borne disease diagnostics no longer have a business model, but a calling—philanthropy, as the accompanying press release calls it. And while the lone star tick continues its northward journey, the next WHO pandemic convention is already sorting out global responsibilities for the "ethically justifiable spread of preventive pathogens"—voluntary, transparent, and without alternative!

My blog was never designed to spread news, let alone get political, but with current affairs I just can't help but capture information here that is otherwise censored on all other channels. I am aware that the design page may not seem "serious" to many in this regard, but I will not change this to please the "mainstream". Anyone who is open to non-state-compliant information sees the content and not the packaging. I've tried enough to provide people with information over the last 2 years, but quickly noticed that it never matters how it's "packaged", but what the other person's attitude towards it is. I don't want to put honey on anyone's mouth to meet expectations in any way, so I'll keep this design because hopefully at some point I'll be able to stop making these political statements, because it's not my goal to go on like this forever ;) I leave it up to everyone how they deal with it.
