Anyone who thinks the Middle Ages are over is seriously mistaken—we're back, only with Wi-Fi and solar roofs. Modern man has digitized his confession and now calls it "climate protection." Heaven and hell are now called "the 1,5-degree target" and "tipping-point Armageddon," the new original sin is meat consumption, and anyone who breathes is fundamentally sinning against Mother Earth.
But don't panic: This time, too, there's salvation – for a fee. The modern-day wafer is called carbon offsetting. For a few euros, you can happily continue flying, driving SUVs, and hosting barbecues – as long as you've bought a digital tree somewhere. Never before has it been so easy to buy your way out. The church of the 21st century calls itself the climate industry, and its credo is: "You should abstain – unless you have money."
The CO₂ indulgence trade is running like clockwork. Corporations are allowed to continue polluting the air as long as they tweet about it in a "sustainable" way. Politicians travel to climate summits on government jets and then call it an "awareness-raising measure." And while citizens dutifully pay off their heat pumps, the entourage of moralists blasts off to Bali on private jets to "make a statement."
Criticism of this? Heresy! Anyone who expresses doubt is a "climate denier," the new devil in the green sky. The Inquisition now has a Twitter account and calls itself "Fact Check." Discussions aren't held; they're deleted. It's no longer about the climate—it's about control, money, and holy fear.
And the solutions? Beautiful enough to make you cry: electric cars with child labor in their batteries, CO₂ certificates as modern-day Monopoly banknotes, and sermons of renunciation for those who already have almost nothing. The climate religion has everything a religion needs—guilt, sacrifice, holy scriptures, and a few very wealthy prophets.
Results? Of course none. Emissions are rising, temperatures are rising too – only morale is reaching new records. After decades of climate conferences, the Earth is still the same, but the saviors' pockets are considerably fuller.
Conclusion: Climate change is the new indulgence trade—this time with press conferences, influencer blessings, and ESG certification. Fear is the currency, virtue the marketing, science the liturgy. Those who pay are praised. Those who doubt are erased. And those who even laugh end up in the purgatory of cancel culture. Welcome to the climate-neutral end times—now with a moral bonus program.

My blog was never designed to spread news, let alone get political, but with current affairs I just can't help but capture information here that is otherwise censored on all other channels. I am aware that the design page may not seem "serious" to many in this regard, but I will not change this to please the "mainstream".
