The Victorian greenhouse as a battleground – the setting couldn't be more fitting, for it was here that the two most dangerous ideas of the 19th century were born. Player 1: Sigmund Freud, inventor of the unconscious, cocaine enthusiast, and patriarch of the couch, who traced every human impulse back to either the mother or the phallus. Player 2: Charles Darwin, father of the theory of evolution, breeder of pigeons, and gravedigger of human special status, who politely informed us that we are merely refined apes.
The background: reason versus emotion, consciousness versus instinct, science versus science – and both with the same result. Freud declared man a prisoner of his neuroses. Darwin declared him a product of blind selection. Together they provided modernity with the perfect excuse: neither guilt nor responsibility, only instinct and trauma. The rest is just the cost of therapy.
And humanity, newly freed from God and morality, lay down on the couch – and hasn't gotten up since!

"Dravens Tales from the Crypt" has been enchanting for over 15 years with a tasteless mixture of humor, serious journalism - for current events and unbalanced reporting in the press politics - and zombies, garnished with lots of art, entertainment and punk rock. Draven has turned his hobby into a popular brand that cannot be classified.
