Why are we often attracted to things that are forced upon us as forbidden or told not to do? It seems that just what is forbidden arouses our curiosity and tempts us to do something we wouldn't otherwise do. There may be a hidden meaning in language that encourages us to do what is forbidden. In fact, there is often a huge discrepancy between the meaning of words and what our subconscious interprets from them, which can lead to misunderstandings. Part of what is covered in the video is based on Sergio Manuel Pop's research on language. This is what is called NLP, Neuro Linguistic Programming. Neuro-linguistic programming is a collection of methods and communication techniques that influence mental processes in humans. This is the reason for clever sentences like "Faith can move mountains" (affirmations) or "The word is the strongest weapon"...

It should be clear that running dravenstales.ch takes a lot of time and costs. To cover costs and maybe a free drink or two, I could plaster the whole place with advertising. But I like my readers, which is why I want to offer them a (largely) ad-free reading experience. If you like what's going on and/or what's going on on this website, then it would be nice if you somehow shared the fun here would support, Thank you!
