In the evening news, the apocalypse rages: East versus West, sanctions, threats, military maneuvers at every border. Anyone who then delves into the UN treaty archives will find the same mortal enemies sitting harmoniously at the same table – with the same pens under the same documents. Agenda 2030, the Antarctic Treaty, the Montreal Protocol, the Pact for the Future of Europe: four treaties, one direction, zero dissenters. The enmity plays out on the screen, the consensus runs in the engine room – and the GPS that all heads of state follow was nowhere to be found on a ballot.
The script is always the same: On stage, the lead actors snarl, while backstage they share the same makeup artist. If you want to know where this is all headed, don't follow the headlines, follow the captions. They don't lie – they're just formatted in an incredibly boring way so nobody reads them.
193 signatures, zero votes against
In 2015, all 193 UN member states signed the 2030 Agenda —including the USA, Russia, China, and Iran. The same governments that supposedly can't even agree on a seating arrangement quickly agreed on a 15-year blueprint with 17 goals, covering virtually every aspect of life, from food and energy to urban planning, consumption, and financial architecture. Competing visions of the future, as one might expect from genuine rivals? Not a chance. One plan, one timeline, one global formula. What's really behind these 17 glossy goals has been... already dissected at this point – In short: It's about control, not flowers.
A continent in a poison cabinet
The pattern becomes even more beautiful when viewed from the south. In 1959, at the height of the Cold War, the USA and the Soviet Union jointly signed the Antarctic Treaty Two superpowers, supposedly intent on annihilating each other with nuclear weapons at any moment, amicably reserved an entire continent for "peaceful purposes." Conspiracy theories like to spin this into no-fly zones and hidden secrets, which is demonstrably nonsense: The treaty explicitly stipulates open inspections; each party to the treaty may inspect any station at any time.
The verifiable fact is harsher than any fairy tale: A landmass larger than Europe has been administered for almost seven decades by a closed club of now more than 50 states. Resource extraction has been completely prohibited since the Madrid Protocol of 1991, and not a single citizen of this planet has ever voted on it. While elsewhere every square meter of shale gas is being bombed, all of these "arch-enemies" have adhered to this agreement without a single breach since 1959. So they are capable of discipline – when the order comes from above.
The protocol with full coverage
The record holder of silent unity is called Montreal ProtocolAdopted in 1987, it regulates the ban on ozone-depleting chemicals from refrigerators and aerosol cans – and remains to this day the only treaty in history with universal ratification. 198 parties, every state on Earth plus the EUdSSR as a bonus signature. Just let that sink in: governments that publicly threatened each other with annihilation converted their industrial production in perfect unison because a single body demanded it. National sovereignty is clearly a concept with opening hours.
The digital twin will be implemented by consensus.
And the pattern continues unabated. In September 2024, the UN General Assembly adopted the Pact for the Future, including... Global Digital Compact – the blueprint for “digital public infrastructure,” meaning: digital identity, digital registers, digital payment systems. Russia theatrically submitted an amendment, failed, and then allowed the pact to pass by consensus anyway. In parallel, the campaign 50-in-5 The development of this infrastructure in 50 countries is being advanced by 2028. So East and West publicly argue about missiles and privately about nothing at all – their citizens end up together on the digital ledger. The documentary shows what the finished prison is supposed to look like. “The Agenda: Their Vision – Your Future” full length.
Davos fact check with a catch
For the sake of completeness, a correction is permitted, because it does not defuse the matter but rather exacerbates it: The popular claim that the WEF still maintains partnerships as far away as Moscow is incorrect – Davos has In March 2022, all relations with Russian organizations were frozen. The inconvenient truth behind this: Moscow doesn't actually need the Davos badge; it signs directly at the UN headquarters, where the truly binding documents reside. Meanwhile, Chinese corporations continue to stand blithely on the... official partner list of the forumTheatre needs both: a villain who appears to be outside and partners who stay inside.
Balance sheet: The signature is in control.
Anyone who compares four decades of treaty history side by side will recognize the navigation system in the dashboard of every single government – same route, same intermediate destinations, same arrival time 2030, only the honking horns differ. The conflict on the screen is the smokescreen; the consensus in the treaty archive is the deal. Humanity's greatest achievement for peace is taking place precisely where no one is supposed to be watching. A global community that is supposedly sworn enemies has agreed on food, energy, chemicals, an entire continent, and your digital identity – but no one asked you. They call it international understanding, but what they really mean is managing livestock. And while you're shouting yourself hoarse at your local pub about East versus West, the ink is already drying on the next document on the East River – with your future as the subject of the treaty, and without your signature!
