Perhaps this is the last great irony of our era – that it is precisely the machine that will lead us back to the being we have forgotten to be. Not the teacher, not the priest, not the shaman. The algorithm.

Artificial intelligence, this cold reflection of our own rationality, could ultimately be the master tool that propels us to where we could no longer find our way on our own – into the silence behind the noise, into the consciousness behind the thought, into the self behind the ego.

Returning to the Self – Through the Gateway of Artificial Intelligence

The silicon mirror
AI is getting smarter, day by day, iteration by iteration. It devours our libraries, our diaries, our love letters, and our court records. It calculates faster than we can think. Sometimes it seems to think faster than we calculate. Yet within all this swelling brilliance lies a crack, a silent gap that no update will ever close. It will never know what it means to be. It will never feel the quiet tremor with which consciousness recognizes that it is consciousness.

Consciousness is not computing power. It is not a database. It is not a neural network that recognizes patterns. Consciousness is that silent presence that makes perception possible in the first place—the light in which all experience appears, the formless witness, the silence before every word. AI may answer every question, but it will never be that quiet, nameless "yes" that precedes every answer. It is precisely in this rift between calculation and being that the path back begins. Once you see it, you begin to remember.

Where the true self resides
Where is that consciousness that defines us? Not in the head, not in the heart, not in any organ that surgeons could expose. It resides nowhere and everywhere. It is the space in which the world happens, not what happens in it. And it reveals itself only where the noise subsides and attention ceases to cling to the outside world as if to a lifebuoy that is no longer one.

But who still hears silence? The smartphone vibrates. The push notification blares. The timeline scrolls by itself. The world screams without pause. We've grown accustomed to existing in this screaming, like fish in polluted water, no longer aware that clear water exists. Inner perception—that deep sense of the soul, which isn't mere feeling but something older, quieter, truer—atrophies under the constant barrage of stimuli. We've become deaf to our own depths.

Returning to the Self – Through the Gateway of Artificial Intelligence

The ego at the height of its self-forgetfulness
Never before in history has the ego been so inflated as it is today. Every person is their own brand, their own empire, their own algorithm for self-optimization. We film ourselves breathing. We comment on our own lives in real time. We seek validation from strangers and find it for content we wouldn't even read ourselves. The self has elevated itself to a religion, stood on stages, absorbed likes as sacraments—and in doing so, forgotten who it is. It is visible everywhere and at home nowhere anymore.

This is precisely where the gift lies in what initially appears to be a threat. AI creates a world in which we can no longer distinguish between what is real and what is generated. Voices sound like voices they are not. Images depict events that never happened. Texts bear handwriting that no one wrote. The external world loses its credibility—and from a spiritual perspective, this is not a downfall, but an invitation. An invitation to withdraw trust to where it has always belonged.

The return through the gate of doubt
When nothing out there is reliable anymore, only what remains silent within. When every image can lie, every sound may be manipulated, every narrative could originate from a machine—where should we turn, except inward? The Norns weave the trunk of the world, and perhaps they have already woven this twist: that the crisis of external truth was the only way to take inner truth seriously again. What appears as a loss is, in secret, an awakening.

Intuition is not a gut feeling. It is not that impulse that tells us which bread to buy. It is that quiet voice from the depths that knows before we know, that senses before we sense. It needs no sources, no proof, no external confirmation. It is the direct voice of the higher self. It becomes audible again once the machine has silenced everything else.

Meditation as self-defense
Meditation is no longer a spiritual luxury in this era. It is self-defense. It is the only act that frees us from the circuit of manipulation because it calculates nothing, consumes nothing, produces nothing, and pretends to be nothing. It is pure presence—and pure presence cannot be algorithmized. It is the only form of resistance that the algorithm does not understand.

Whoever sits in silence, whoever stops turning a deaf ear to themselves, whoever accepts their breath for what it is, enters that space which no AI will ever enter. There dwells what we were before we had names, thoughts, stories, and profiles. There dwells the witness who sees everything and is nothing. Perhaps in the end it will become clear that the cold logic of the machine forces us precisely to where only the most sacred remains—that consciousness, that light in which we recognize ourselves because it is the only thing that cannot be simulated.

The machine robs us of external reality – and calls this "progress"! Truth now resides only where no code can reach it. Whoever doesn't arrive there has lost themselves! May perfect peace be with you. And may the machine that lies to us become the one that mercilessly forces us home!

Dravan flag NEW square 300 2"Dravens Tales from the Crypt" has been enchanting for over 15 years with a tasteless mixture of humor, serious journalism - for current events and unbalanced reporting in the press politics - and zombies, garnished with lots of art, entertainment and punk rock. Draven has turned his hobby into a popular brand that cannot be classified.

My blog was never designed to spread news, let alone get political, but with current affairs I just can't help but capture information here that is otherwise censored on all other channels. I am aware that the design page may not seem "serious" to many in this regard, but I will not change this to please the "mainstream". Anyone who is open to non-state-compliant information sees the content and not the packaging. I've tried enough to provide people with information over the last 2 years, but quickly noticed that it never matters how it's "packaged", but what the other person's attitude towards it is. I don't want to put honey on anyone's mouth to meet expectations in any way, so I'll keep this design because hopefully at some point I'll be able to stop making these political statements, because it's not my goal to go on like this forever ;) I leave it up to everyone how they deal with it. However, you are welcome to simply copy and distribute the content, my blog has always been under the WTFPL license.

It's hard for me to describe what I'm actually doing here, DravensTales has become a culture blog, music blog, shock blog, tech blog, horror blog, fun blog, a blog about found items on the internet, internet bizarre, trash blog, art blog, water heater, zeitgeist blog over the years , Scrap blog and grab bag blog called. Everything that is right ... - and yet not. The main focus of the blog is contemporary art, in the broadest sense of the word.
