Germanium is found in the Lourdes spring and the Fatima spring. It is present in some of the world's finest medicinal plants and mushrooms. Aloe vera, reishi and shiitake mushrooms, garlic, goji berries, ginseng, and comfrey owe some of their healing properties to their high germanium content.

Above all, its ability to increase oxygen levels in tissues, thereby revitalizing and detoxifying the body and stimulating the immune system, can have enormously positive, sometimes even spectacular, effects. Since germanium was banned as a dietary supplement, it has become an outlier among trace elements, but it can still be used in colloidal or homeopathic form. The experiences gained with it certainly hold a wealth of surprises.

The immune system
Germanium greatly supports the immune system by increasing oxygen supply to tissues. Clinical studies have shown that germanium promotes leukopenia. It stimulates T cells, fecoplasma, lymphocytes, and interferons, and subsequently activates macrophages to defend against abnormal cells—such as tumor cells or virus-infected cells. Therefore, germanium can also be helpful in cases of HIV or the multi-resistant bacterium Staphylococcus aureus, better known as the "multidrug-resistant hospital germ." It also reliably combats warts and fungal infections. It increases the number and activity of natural killer cells and helps maintain normal blood cell counts during illness, chemotherapy, or after surgery. These findings are still new, and further research is needed to better understand this potential. However, it can already be utilized today.

Supportive treatment for cancer?
The answer must be: Not alone, but it makes its contribution and even brings rapid results. At the end of 2020, a double-blind study was published confirming the effectiveness of organic germanium on the immune system. In this study, 66 people received 1,2 g of organic germanium daily for eight weeks. The same number received a placebo. The effects on the immune system were confirmed once again. Furthermore, it was shown that organic germanium enhances the cytotoxic effect of T cells. T cells act as the immune system's secret service in the body and are constantly on the lookout for pathologically altered cells, regardless of whether these are infected with pathogens such as viruses or exhibit degeneration (cell maturation). The T cells then recruit other immune cells to neutralize these pathogenic cells.

Oxygen also plays an important role in cancer cells. Cancer cells do not thrive in oxygen-deficient environments. Organic germanium (especially germanium-132 or germanium sesquioxide) primarily acts as an immunomodulator in the body. It influences the activity and number of various types of leukocytes (white blood cells) as follows:
Activation of NK cells: It significantly increases the activity of natural killer cells (NK cells), which are responsible for fighting virus-infected cells and tumor cells.

Stimulation of macrophages and neutrophils: In clinical studies, increased activation of phagocytic cells (macrophages and neutrophils) was observed, which improves the overall defense against infection.
Effect on T cells: Intake can lead to an increase in the number of T lymphocytes. It also stimulates the induction of interferon-gamma, an important messenger substance that coordinates the leukocyte immune response.
Normalization of blood values: There is evidence that organic germanium can help normalize the concentration of leukocytes in the blood when abnormalities occur.

Colloidal germanium in veterinary medicine
Not only humans, but also animals benefit from colloidal germanium. The effect may even be stronger in animals, as those with cancer usually receive no further treatment beyond surgery. Unfortunately, success is not always guaranteed. One should be aware of this and not rely solely on germanium.

Intestinal tumor in dogs
A female dog, 12,9 cm tall, with an inoperable intestinal tumor. A kinesiological examination revealed the need for Conlolus and Hericium medicinal mushrooms, papaya leaf tea, Coliform Germanium, and later also Chaga medicinal mushrooms. The tumor is still present but appears to have shrunk. The dog is no longer in pain, is energetic, goes for a 1,5-hour walk daily, and eats normally – everything is completely normal. She can also lie on her back, which was previously impossible.

water in the lungs
A 15-year-old poodle with fluid in its lungs, suspected cancer, and in very poor condition. The dog received coliform germanium, papaya leaf tea, and Reishi medicinal mushroom, recovered, and showed no further problems after a short time.

Liver cancer
An older poodle was scheduled to be euthanized because he had liver metastases with multiple metastases in his lungs. That was a year ago. Since then, the liver tumor and the metastases have completely disappeared. The dog received papaya leaf powder (which he voluntarily consumed in large quantities), 4000 mg of germanium, and the Reishi medicinal mushroom.

Mast cell tumor
A six-month-old dog developed mast cell tumors for the second time and suffered a heart attack. After three months of treatment with germanium twice daily, the tumors regressed.

TUMOR AND METASTASES
A cat with a tumor and metastases was given less than a week to live by the veterinarian. The owner administered Transformer Intense Biopeton powder, a pinch on each meal, and 10 sprays of colloidal germanium, evenly distributed over the food, for three weeks. The cat was still sneezing. A follow-up examination showed that neither the tumor nor metastases were detectable.

Nerve damage in the leg
A guinea pig with a numb leg due to nerve damage: The veterinarian recommended amputation. After three weeks of treatment with germanium and a one-week course of a capsule containing the medicinal mushroom hencium, the animal regained its ability to move. All but one of its toes have regained feeling. Goji berries contain germanium.

throat ulcers
A dog with a sore throat receives three to four drops of colloidal germanium and some Transformer biophoton powder daily in a ham pouch; the sores heal. Initially, he also takes Reishi tablets.

Sore throat
An 11-year-old dog suffered from bursitis of the painful joint with fluid accumulation. A seven-month course of anti-inflammatory medication provided relief. Only after nearly three weeks did MSM, Reshi Vitabitz colloidal germanium, and internal colloidal silicon bring the desired and lasting improvement.

Colloidal germanium helps with, among other things:
• Cancer
• Detoxification of heavy metals
• Stimulates the immune system
• Eye diseases (glaucoma, cataracts, retinal detachment, etc.)
• Rheumatoid arthritis

Regarding the colloids
How colloids work
Colloids act practically like an infusion: The particles are so small that they easily pass through the skin into the bloodstream. They can penetrate any structure, effortlessly cross the blood-brain barrier (both ways), and thus reach even the most remote areas. Applied topically, they can exert their effects directly where they are most needed. Every body cell that can utilize the element immediately incorporates it at the required location.

Oral administration may therefore require a larger quantity because it results in a more even distribution. Absorption occurs completely bypassing the digestive tract. At the same time, the elements no longer need to be metabolized and are immediately available for the body to use.

Trade names of germanium
• 3,3′-(1,3-dioxo-1,3-digermoxanediyl)dipropanoic acid (IUPAC)
• 2-(Carboxyethyl)germanium sesquioxide
• Propapagermanium
• Bis(carboxyethyl germanium) sesquioxide
• Ge-132
• Germanium-132
• Repappermanium
• Propapagermanium

Remember:
• Organic germanium/GE 132 etc. (see trade names) ALWAYS contains 42% reactive germanium due to its chemical structure – this also applies to ASAI germanium, otherwise it would not be organic germanium. Sanugerman, germanium lactocitrate, etc., are different products containing organic germanium compounds.

Ingestion of colloidal germanium
Body weight x 1ml in the morning on an empty stomach. Effective against bacteria, fungi, and parasites. "Antioxidant shielding" for optimal effectiveness of organic germanium.

Dosage table for organic germanium (according to Dr. Asai or Dr. Okazawa and Dr. Tanaka and Dr. Okazawa):

Nephrosis – 3 x 30 mg per kg body weight
Prostate problems – 800 mg
Atopic dermatitis – 4 x 20 mg per kg body weight
Beck's disease – 1,5 mg
Cerebellar degeneration – 2 x 40 mg per kg body weight
Subacute neuropathy – 2 x 40 mg per kg body weight
Retrobulbar neuritis/total blindness – 2 x 40 mg per kg body weight + germanium eye drops
Extreme pain (e.g., cancer pain) – 3-4 g
Hepatoma – guttate hepatocellular adenoma and malignant hepatocellular carcinoma – 3 x 35 mg per kg body weight + suppositories + injections
Leukemia – 500 mg
Prevention of metastases – 500 mg

Further applications for colloidal germanium. Official dosages for germanium are not known; however, 2 x 10 sprays of aqueous colloidal germanium or a few drops of colloidal germanium rubbed into the inner elbow represent a good standard treatment. A deficiency can be detected through hair analysis or an energetic testing method.

Experience shows that it is like this:
Organic germanium is noticeably effective even in small amounts (from about 150 mg) in an otherwise largely healthy organism. However, if there is already a significant health impairment, so-called "antioxidant shielding" is advisable to achieve optimal effectiveness. Organic germanium has an antioxidant effect due to its chemical structure. This function can also be performed by other known antioxidants, thus supporting the positive health effects of organic germanium.
Vitamin C (at least 1000 mg, ideally buffered with an equal amount of baking soda… or use OPC directly), Vitamin E (400 IU – to support the Vitamin C), Selenium, Beta-carotene, OPC, Astaxanthin and others…

Each of these substances is worth a closer look and can easily be researched online.

Attention!
The crucial difference between organic and inorganic germanium lies in the chemical bond and the associated toxicity to the human body.

Chemical difference
Organic germanium (Ge-132): Here, the germanium atom is directly bonded to carbon (germanium sesquioxide).
This form occurs naturally in trace amounts in plants such as garlic or ginseng.
Inorganic germanium: These compounds (mostly germanium dioxide) do not contain carbon bonds. They are primarily produced as industrial products for fiber optic technology or semiconductor manufacturing.

Toxicity and health risks
The distinction is vital, as the two forms have completely different effects on the body:
Feature:

Organic Germanium GE-132. (Toxicity is considered non-toxic in pure form)
Inorganic germanium (highly toxic, especially to the kidneys)
Hazard risk due to contamination with inorganic germanium.
Severe kidney damage, organ failure, and death are possible.
Approval is prohibited in Germany as a food supplement.
