There are rich people. There are super-rich people. And then there are those who speak about morality on world stages while, in the background, contact lists circulate that look like the VIP directory of a particularly dysfunctional galaxy. Welcome to the theater of the power elites.
The Epstein network wasn't some dark basement club, but a social hub with a sea view. Politicians, academics, financial tycoons, tech billionaires. All there by chance. All just to network. No one ever saw, heard, or knew anything. A kind of collective amnesia with a private jet.
And interspersed throughout are names we usually associate with entirely different contexts. For example, Bill Gates. The man who explains to us how to manage pandemics, optimize agriculture, and digitize education. A visionary. A philanthropist. A man who is saving the world.
Of course, he emphasizes that his meetings with Epstein were purely business-related. Strategic discussions. Global challenges. Sustainability. We all know the drill. When billionaires meet with convicted sex offenders, climate protection is naturally on the agenda.
What's truly disturbing isn't even the contact itself. It's the moral asymmetry. The average citizen is socially crucified for the wrong tweet. One wrong word and they're finished. For global elites, however, a simple "I was young and needed the network" is enough – and they're off to the next panel in Davos.
These circles preach transparency, responsibility, and ethics. They demand regulation for everyone else. They speak of "values" and "global governance." At the same time, files disappear, witnesses don't remember, and suddenly it was all just a champagne-fueled misunderstanding.
It's this double standard that's disturbing. Not the existence of power itself, but the self-immunization of those in power. If your influence is great enough, every headline becomes a footnote. And while down below they're debating who's allowed to say what, up above they're sitting together people who can apparently get away with anything – including selective memory.
The real conspiracy isn't the secret. It's the habit…
