It takes a special kind of satirical irony for a Kennedy from Washington to have to explain to the German Minister of Health how a state governed by the rule of law should deal with troublesome doctors. In January 2026, US Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wrote a letter to Nina Warken , in which he spoke of over a thousand German doctors facing criminal prosecution and branded the proceedings as politically motivated. Warken's reply was prompt and in the tone of an offended government official: factually incorrect, completely unfounded, and she would be happy to explain this to him personally.
Sure. So let's talk about the facts, which supposedly aren't facts at all.
The numbers nobody wants to see
Data analyst Tom Lausen, together with two lawyers, surveyed the public prosecutor's offices of five German states, which together cover approximately thirty percent of the population. The result is... 1,521 investigations under Section 278 of the Criminal CodeThe number of cases involving the issuance of false medical certificates, plus 2887 proceedings against patients, is estimated at around 5000. Extrapolated to the entire country, this equates to approximately 5,000 doctors facing prosecution. Figures are still unavailable from eleven federal states, including Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia. We must be honest here, because the other side isn't: these are investigations initiated, not all convictions. Anyone who draws a blanket conclusion that thousands of doctors have been convicted is engaging in the same statistical manipulation they accuse the authorities of. But the findings remain monstrous enough, even when calculated objectively.
Let's take Rolf Kron , a general practitioner and homeopath from Kaufering. His house was searched, his accounts frozen for fifteen months, he was temporarily banned from practicing medicine, and ultimately received a one-year and nine-month suspended sentence plus a ten-thousand-euro fine. His offense, meticulously documented: 112 mask exemption certificates issued to people he had never examined and, in many cases, never even seen. Two female employees filled out pre-signed blank forms from email inquiries. In total, he is said to have produced nearly four thousand such certificates. One can consider this unscrupulous assembly-line work or civil disobedience by a doctor who believed the harmfulness of FFP2 masks to be proven. Both are defensible. What remains difficult to justify is the surrounding spectacle, which even led colleagues like Bianca Witschel into the courtroom in leg irons and handcuffs, as if they were securing a hardened criminal. A mask exemption certificate. Not a suicide vest.
Where the argument tips over
And this is where it gets tricky, because the movement merrily mixes up its martyrs. Heinrich Habig The man from Recklinghausen is not serving his multi-year prison sentence for raising awareness, but because, as a court determined, he stamped hundreds of vaccination certificates without administering any vaccines and then discarded the doses. This is forgery, not an act of heroic enlightenment, even if certain online platforms glorify him as the Oskar Schindler of vaccination propaganda. The Federal Court of Justice has upheld the verdicts, and even the most skewed historical analogy won't change that. Anyone who lumps Kron and Habig together is squandering the strongest argument that the critical medical profession actually possesses. Because the real scandal lies elsewhere, and it has just been signed.
The price tag on the syringe
The following applies from January 2026: newly regulated standby allowanceA legacy of Lauterbach, with the blessing of the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV). General practitioners' offices that bill for fewer than ten vaccinations per quarter receive a 40 percent deduction. In the fourth quarter, the vaccination rate is supposed to reach 25 percent of treatment cases. The KBV and the dpa fact-checkers indignantly point out that this is only one of ten optional bonus criteria; no one is forced to get vaccinated, and the bonus can also be secured through evening appointments. Fine. But that doesn't change the core issue: The state is putting a price tag on the injection and leaving it up to the general practitioner to decide whether to secure their fee for the quota or decide in the patient's best interest. Even the NZZ, not a conspiracy theorist, calls this a serious infringement on the freedom of therapy and asks who comes up with such figures. This is how you turn medical professionals into sales representatives, without any police raids.
This is the tweezers the system uses. On one side, the financial reward for participating: twenty-eight euros per injection, thirty-six on weekends; one doctor boasted of generating 254 euros in revenue in a single month. On the other side, the legal annihilation of those who issued a piece of paper, along with frozen bank accounts, confiscated patient files, and a family that will never forget the 000 a.m. banging on their door. Those who meet the quota get a price tag added to their fee. Those who write medical certificates get the SWAT team at their door. Caught in the middle is the patient, who has long since lost track of whether someone is actually helping them or merely ticking a box.
Honesty in both directions
One doesn't have to agree with every one of Kron's claims to recognize the pattern, and some are weak. The assertion that mRNA preparations are declared bioweapons in several US states illustrates this point. Bills introduced in Tennessee, Arizona and MinnesotaThis classification is not in force, and the relevant health organizations consider it scientifically unfounded. Anyone who wants to remain honest says so, instead of declaring the draft a verdict. The same honesty applies in the other direction, however. The question of whether a system is healthy that burdens thousands of doctors providing information with investigations while making vaccination rates a condition of reimbursement cannot be dismissed with the word "factually incorrect." Anyone who... fourteen million rescued Anyone spouting nonsense should look into the underlying set theory before labeling others as conspiracy theorists. And anyone who still considers these preparations harmless vaccinations should read up on the facts. they never were.
Because that's the real trick. Not the condemnation, but the reversal. Anyone who takes their oath to the patient's well-being seriously is considered a danger. Anyone who meets the quota is considered reputable. Thus, the doctor becomes an accomplice, and the accomplice becomes a role model. Informed consent was once the duty of medicine. Today, it's a legal code. And while the minister defends her facts, the handcuffs keep clicking. They slaughter one doctor after another and call it the rule of law. They put a price tag on the needle and call it basic healthcare. They criminalize saying no and call it science. The handcuffs aren't being used against murderers here. They're being used against doctors who didn't want to harm their patients!
