Alien: Covenant was directed by cult director Ridley Scott and is his third installment in the franchise. In his new film, the crew of a colonization spaceship encounters a seemingly unexplored paradise in distant space. In truth, however, it is a dark, dangerous world inhabited by the sole survivor of the failed Prometheus expedition: David. Prometheus fans can look forward to the return of Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender, both of whom will be back to take on the evil from space once again. Also in the middle are Katherine Waterston and Billy Crudup, who inevitably come into contact with extraterrestrial life forms, the horrifying Xenomorphs. When they discover a threat of unimaginable proportions, they must attempt a harrowing escape.

Ridley Scott recently announced in a preview of his Prometheus sequel that Alien: Covenant will ' scare the shit out of us '. Because we have probably never been attacked so massively and numerically by the Xenomorphs and, more recently, Neomorphs as in Scott's eagerly awaited Alien return.
