«Another Day of Life» is based on the book by Ryszard Kapuściński, one of the most renowned journalists and most translated authors in Poland. In his book he writes about his terrible experiences in Angola in 1975 at the time of the civil war. Kapuscinski is considered an icon in journalistic circles. In the 70s, his work took him to the most dangerous sources of fire in Africa and gave a face to the suffering of the African population in the struggle for self-determination. What he experienced there would mark him forever. He increasingly lost his role as a silent observer and became an active fighter. In order to underline the meaning and statement of the film, the contrast between animation sequences, archive recordings and film material recorded at original locations was deliberately used.
We live in a country where women who understand and do good and pacifists are swear words. - We did it really well.

It should be clear that running dravenstales.ch takes a lot of time and costs. To cover costs and maybe a free drink or two, I could plaster the whole place with advertising. But I like my readers, which is why I want to offer them a (largely) ad-free reading experience. If you like what's going on and/or what's going on on this website, then it would be nice if you somehow shared the fun here would support, Thank you!
