A third installment in the Bill & Ted series has been in various stages of development for almost a decade now and now the two guys are back with their time travel phone booth!
On the promotional tour for his documentary «Who the F*@% is Frank Zappa?» Actor Alex Winter revealed that a start date for "Bill & Ted 3" could be imminent. "We worked on this for six years," said Winter, who played Bill S. Preston in the original two films Forbes. "We're knee deep in the script being written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, both of whom were also responsible for the first two parts. They are fantastic writers and the script is great. We have a script, we have a director, we have a studio - we're trying to nail down a launch date now."
When asked if the launch date would come by the end of this year or during the first half of next, Winter replied, "Hopefully the former, maybe the latter." He also confirmed that Keanu Reeves will return as Ted "Theodore" Logan. "How the hell would we do that if he wasn't on board too?" winter joked. "People always ask if Keanu does it," and I'm like, "No, I'm in the process of doing a Bill movie. Of course he's in. I can't do a Bill & Ted movie without Keanu." Full pot, hoschi!
