Unlike the 2017 cinema reboot, this time we're taking the controller/mouse into our own hands and following in the footsteps of the infamous Blair Witch. For the first time since the «Blair Witch» trilogy by Take-Two Interactive, players can set out on a quest for clues, provided they have strong nerves and are able to play the game.
It is often not entirely clear whether what is happening in front of the eyes of the former police officer Ellis corresponds to reality or arises from his own delusions. To keep a clear head, Blooper Team and Lionsgate Games are providing us with an animal companion for the release on August 30, 2019 (Blair Witch has only been announced for Xbox One and PC so far). And that is probably badly needed. Because the developers have already proven that they understand their eerie craft with "Observer", "Layers of Fear" and the sequel "Layers of Fear 2".
The survival horror adventure is set in 1996, two years after the events of Eduardo Sanchez and Daniel Myrick's first film. When a young boy goes missing in the infamous Black Hills Forest near Burkittsville, Maryland, former Police Officer Ellis is tasked with solving the mysterious case. But what starts out as a normal investigation soon takes a nightmarish turn as the Blair Witch rises from the undergrowth and begins the hunt. As with «Layers of Fear», the gameplay takes place entirely in the first person perspective. As Ellis, armed with a flashlight and camera, we wander through dense, foggy forests where strange things are happening.

I am aware that the design page may not seem "serious" to many in this regard, but I will not change this to please the "mainstream". I've tried enough to provide people with information over the last 2 years, but quickly noticed that it never matters how it's "packaged", but what the other person's attitude towards it is. I don't want to put honey on anyone's mouth to meet expectations in any way, so I'll keep this design because hopefully at some point I'll be able to stop making these political statements, because it's not my goal to go on like this forever
