In Stephen King's anthology Castle Rock, a city seems to be the den of unspeakable horrors. Presented by Hulu and created by JJ Abrams, she is the focal point of the series, merging characters, stories and, of course, nightmares from King's long career into a unique TV experience. Among other things, there is a reunion with Bill Skarsgård, who this time does not embody the horror clown Pennywise, but is incarcerated in the notorious Shawshank prison from "The Convicts". Evil Dead and Don't Breathe figurehead Jane Levy and Carrie icon Sissy Spacek also jumped at the chance to star in the JJ Abrams-produced show. While Spacek plays Ruth Deaver as the caring wife and mother who may hold the key to Castle Rock's chilling past, Jane Levy takes on the role of self-proclaimed history expert Jackie with a morbid enthusiasm for death and the afterlife. Both are just two of the many exciting main characters that we will meet in King's multiverse, which is centered on the fictional town of Castle Rock. The series will premiere on Hulu on July 25th, but it's not yet clear when we'll see it...
