Here is a perfect example of precise and high-quality German engineering! Hacker Patrick from patrick's world has a new instrument called the “Bockwurstklavier” up its sleeve for music lovers, which consists of ten Bockwurstklavier that are connected to a computer and sound exactly like the keys of a piano. We all know that Germans love their sausages, but this short video from the German YouTuber takes the concept one step further. The video comes with the description "This is just a quick test of my brand new Bockwurstklavier" and it really is a quick demonstration, but one that is quite ear-catching.
The video was uploaded back in 2019 but has only recently garnered attention. In the video, he can be seen connecting 10 sausages to some wires that connect to a sound system, turning it into a fully functional keyboard. Bockwurst is actually a traditional German sausage made from veal and pork, but who knew it would lend itself so well to a piano? Every time Patrich touches one of the sausages while touching another device in the background, he manages to create a real piano sound. Best of all, the keys work just as well together as they do individually, allowing him to play chords and make real music. There has been some debate as to whether he used a dubbed audio track and prop cables to spoof the video; however, it seems that he really played like a real musician on the sausages.
