After a three-year hiatus, Swedish rock band The Sigil are back with their single "Spirit of the Wild", showcasing their unique sound influenced by bands like Thin Lizzy, Hellacopters, Ghost and Witchcraft. The one-time duo has now morphed into a five-piece melodic rock phenomenon and are ready to captivate fans with their ambitious plan to release a new song every five weeks for the next 50 weeks. The single is part of her first triptych, which also includes The Ailing Hour and Sanguine Spirits. Originally planned as an EP, during the creation process the band decided that each track should be released on its own. According to the band, the three tracks touch on similar themes, such as "the esoteric and the supernatural, tinged with themes of loss and melancholy."
The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.
