Friends, forget Santa Claus, here comes the only real guy in the red costume: Deadpool! And actually, I'm not really Deadpool's biggest fan. There's such a smug aspect of the character's fans that I'm very reluctant to see and that is a frequent cause of sighs on my part. So I'm not really hot for the movie, even if you have to give Ryan Reynolds respect for fighting so passionately for the project all these years. On top of that, the trailer gives a lot of gas and the R rating is also a small risk for 20th Century Fox. The trailer makes the film look really nice - and that's enough. The cinema release in our part of the world is February 11, 2016.
Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
