The 26-year-old Chinese Wu Yongning liked to climb high-rise buildings and had earned a reputation as a “rooftopper” in China. Yongning climbed unsecured to more than 300 skyscrapers and posted photos and videos on the Chinese social media site "Weibo", which went viral through the roof. His last "challenge" ended in tragedy. When he reached the top of the 62-storey Huayuan International Center in Changsa, he did additional pull-ups for show. He lost his footing and fell down – his own camera, which he had carefully placed beforehand, filmed the fall. His death was only announced a month after the accident, which had happened in November. His fans had become suspicious because he had stopped posting new videos. As the South China Morning Post reported on Monday, a sponsor apparently promised him $15 in prize money if he conquered the skyscraper. "He wanted to propose to his girlfriend, he needed the money for the wedding," said the adrenaline junkie's mother to the newspaper.
In the rule of law, the authorities are public and the citizens are private. In the unjust state it is the other way round.

It should be clear that running dravenstales.ch takes a lot of time and costs. To cover costs and maybe a free drink or two, I could plaster the whole place with advertising. But I like my readers, which is why I want to offer them a (largely) ad-free reading experience. If you like what's going on and/or what's going on on this website, then it would be nice if you somehow shared the fun here would support, Thank you!
