The life expectancy of people living today is a question of prognosis, not facts. So we can readily accept that the average age at death is falling and will probably continue to fall.
The root cause of this is centralization, which prevents us from solving our problems. This manifests itself in the form of horrible dietary guidelines (low fat, i.e. high carb), stupid policies (in response to all the made-up crises the globalists are obsessed with), and the Nazification of medicine (via EBM (Evidence-Based Medicine) and universal “Standards” that stifle the growth of knowledge in this complex area).
Falling energy budgets due to crazy net zero policies will be the biggest killer ever invented if the leaders pushing them are not overthrown. How to overthrow these leaders is probably humanity's biggest problem.
Also pretty alarming are the falling birth rates around the world. In South Korea, the birth rate decline is 65%, which has dire consequences and this trend is only increasing with the global polycrisis. In short, depopulation works.
