The world community has been living with the nuclear threat since the end of the Second World War. While the danger of a third world war and with it a possible annihilation of mankind has increased dramatically in recent years, the subjective perception of this catastrophic situation among the population is lower than ever before.
This is not only related to an increasing disinterest in politics and the withdrawal into private life, but it is also due to the lack of transparency in the tense situation. In his lecture, Wolfgang Bittner puts transatlantic relations in a new light. He explains the chronological development from the Maidan in Ukraine to President Trump.
The USA are the determining factor in political developments in Eastern Europe. For a long time they have been using secret service means to prepare for overthrows, influence the central media and gut the sovereignty of European states. dr Wolfgang Bittner has a doctorate in law and works as a writer and publicist in Göttingen. In 2017 his very successful book “The Conquest of Europe by the USA” was published.
