The Nobel Prize Committee has with its Nobel Peace Prize winners, including the nominees. always been one demonstrated good luck and this year named a Muslim as a Nobel Peace Prize winner: Barack Hussein Obama. It's nice to see through the politically correct people so easily! According to the committee, Obama received the award for the following reason:
«He gives hope through his efforts for cooperation between peoples. “The American president has created a new international climate with his policies.”
How? Has he now also saved the climate? After just 263 days in office?
Seriously, on the surface the decision may seem incredibly naive and stupid. But are these incorrigible do-gooders really as stupid as we would like to believe? Couldn't their decision also be based on shrewd calculation? To give the US President the moral cudgel of a Nobel Peace Prize and to preventively commit him to morally impeccable policies for the rest of his three years in office so that he does not do anything bad in future decisions? He is the most worthy of all the worthy. He is the most venerable of all the venerable. He is the prophet. He will heal the world and heal humanity. And give the do-gooders their orgasm. Or is it just the consolation prize for defeat in the fight to host the Olympic Games? If Obama is smart, he will decline the award with the following or similar reasons: "I'm very honored, but I can't accept the award because it's too early... blah blah blah." The price is an infamous burden. The do-gooders of the Nobel Committee want to handcuff US politics.
The idea behind the prize was that it should be awarded to those who have provided the greatest benefit to humanity in the past year. Now the Nobel Committee in Oslo apparently no longer awards its peace prize for accomplished deeds; it awards the award in anticipation of a prophecy being fulfilled. Or is there the price for the one just before Complete super bomb and the possible imminent entry into war?
As Jean-Paul Sartre said when he rejected the Nobel Prize in 1964: “No human being deserves to be revered for living.” In this case, the president will not care about the price. And the price itself?
