As if the presence of a slew of action icons (and some younger stars of the genre) wasn't enough to get you curious about Expend4bles (current title), this new trailer makes it clear that you've got all the boom, gore and guts you might hope for.
Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Sylvester Stallone (the latter in a reduced role as he prepares to exit the franchise) meet some new faces for the first time (if you really call Andy Garcia a "new" face). can). The Expendables are the world's last line of defense and the team to call when all other options are off the table. But new team members with new styles and tactics will give new blood a whole new meaning.
And they're going to need every skill and bullet/knife/tank/plane they can muster because, who knew, terrorists got away with some nukes. And if the team fails to stop their evil plan, the result could be World War III. New this time are Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Megan Fox, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais (as the villain!), Jacob Scipio and Levy Tran. Directed by Scott Waugh, with a screenplay by Kurt Wimmer, Max Adams and the great Tad Daggerhart, Expend4bles hits theaters September 22nd.
