Great, our telco providers have done it again, like me at G need to read, the iPhone is sold as follows:
“From July 3, 11, Orange will be offering the iPhone 2008G without a contract. The 8 GB model then costs 759 francs (472 euros) and for 899 francs (559 euros) there is the iPhone 3G with 16 GB capacity. This means that the iPhone 3G is significantly cheaper in the prepaid package from Swisscom, where it costs 519 and 619 francs, which is the equivalent of 325 and 385 euros, respectively. Both network operators only sell the Apple mobile phone with a SIM lock, which means that it cannot easily be used with SIM cards from other network operators»
Well suuuhuuuper. What about if I don't change providers but want to keep my existing contract? After all, I want the opportunity Surfing cheaper at Swisscom with the iPhone also use! Do I really have to use the many described possibilities that Unlock iPhone use? Or even watch the video on Youtube? It really shows how to proceed, not (yet) for the iPhone 3G, but the principle will be the same. And that everything in order to finally insert a Swisscom SIM card anyway? Are you crazy? There are things ...
Anyway, as already mentioned, I don't have to be with the first - maybe they'll get smarter over time? I have the time and don't feel like doing handicrafts just to own Apple's mass brick. Do what you want, I have time and my N95
