The "Sons of Anarchy" spinoff takes place some time after the death of Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam). Run-down ex-cop Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes (JD Pardo) wants to start a new life on the Mexico-California border. He was once considered the great hope of his village. After his family was brutally wiped out and he ended up in prison, he has to find his way in the brutal world of the outlaws. EZ becomes a contender with the Mayans biker gang, which competes with the Sons. Ten episodes are planned for the first season. In addition to the newcomers JD Pardo, Sarah Bolger (Into the Badlands), Raymond Cruz (Better Call Saul) and Maurice Compte (Narcos), there is a reunion with old acquaintances. For example, Emilio Rivera will return as Marcus Alvarez.
Exactly ten years after the premiere of "Sons Of Anarchy", the first episode "Mayans MC" will be broadcast in the US&A on September 4, 2018 on FX, unfortunately there is currently no start date for our latitudes. "Mayans MC" probably won't take long to get to us, since "Sons of Anarchy" also celebrated great success in this country. In Germany, for example, the pay-TV broadcaster Fox usually broadcasts the FX series. The spin-off could be seen there shortly after the US release.
