The Mormon college Brigham Young University wants to help porn-addicted students and to underline their message the makers compare erotic films with the First World War. Your video against sleazy films starts with a voice from the off: “A lonely, confused young man becomes addicted to porn”, a teenager can be seen sitting in front of the screen. Another man appears behind him: "His roommates know, but they do nothing to help him." The voice further describes the porn addict: He has stopped going to church. There is darkness in his eyes." Then the makers of the video draw a slightly questionable comparison: "The young man lies mentally wounded on the battlefield of the First World War." And that because of porn?! Hello?!

Afterwards scenes from a battle can be seen. The young man who used to be at the computer is now lying wounded on the battlefield. His roommate can also be seen as a soldier: he wants to help his comrade, but is stopped by his comrades-in-arms. Shortly thereafter, it also becomes clear who the voice is about. Kim B. Clark, head of the University of Idaho, speaks to his students: "Don't leave the wounded on the battlefield!" Unsurprisingly, the plot returns to the symbolic battlefield and in real life, the student finally dares to confront his roommate about porn use. "If necessary, talk to your bishop," Clark recommends. "If you have a friend who is in trouble, tell someone who can help." So Mormon bishops seem to know a lot about pornography.

Then there is peace, joy and pancakes again: the two students are at a party, drinking soft drinks and giving each other meaningful looks. Yes, they will definitely never look at porn again. The central message of Brigham Young University is actually simple and pleads for moral courage: "Don't be silent". Typical Mormon emotional manipulation and I'll just say: "Make love not war!"

"Dravens Tales from the Crypt" has been enchanting for over 15 years with a tasteless mixture of humor, serious journalism - for current events and unbalanced reporting in the press politics - and zombies, garnished with lots of art, entertainment and punk rock. Draven has turned his hobby into a popular brand that cannot be classified.

My blog was never designed to spread news, let alone get political, but with current affairs I just can't help but capture information here that is otherwise censored on all other channels. I am aware that the design page may not seem "serious" to many in this regard, but I will not change this to please the "mainstream". Anyone who is open to non-state-compliant information sees the content and not the packaging. I've tried enough to provide people with information over the last 2 years, but quickly noticed that it never matters how it's "packaged", but what the other person's attitude towards it is. I don't want to put honey on anyone's mouth to meet expectations in any way, so I'll keep this design because hopefully at some point I'll be able to stop making these political statements, because it's not my goal to go on like this forever ;) I leave it up to everyone how they deal with it. However, you are welcome to simply copy and distribute the content, my blog has always been under the WTFPL license.

It's hard for me to describe what I'm actually doing here, DravensTales has become a culture blog, music blog, shock blog, tech blog, horror blog, fun blog, a blog about found items on the internet, internet bizarre, trash blog, art blog, water heater, zeitgeist blog over the years , Scrap blog and grab bag blog called. Everything that is right ... - and yet not. The main focus of the blog is contemporary art, in the broadest sense of the word.
