A traumatized Vietnam veteran who just wants peace and quiet is bullied by townsfolk. Just as he is about to leave town, the first altercation occurs on a bridge. No, we're not talking about "Rambo", but about Ruckus. However, the similarities between the two stories are striking. What is surprising is that Ruckus is the original and Rambo is the copy. And Ruckus has its qualities, because it's one of the best trashy B-movies I've seen. The stunts are solid, the effects cheap (but nice) and the humor, although mostly involuntary, isn't neglected. The cast list is also quite impressive. Linda Blair (The Exorcist), Richard Farnsworth (The Straight Story), Hollywood veteran Ben Johnson and of course Dirk "Faceman" Benedict (The A-Team, Battlestar Galactica), who, however, sells far below value here, since he is for the role of the silent lone fighter is simply not predestined.
When the “hippie” Kyle Hanson comes to a small town, the conservative residents try to chase him out of town and give him a lesson. But what they didn't expect is that Hanson is an old Vietnam veteran with enough combat experience to turn the tables and turn the residents' stupid game into deadly seriousness.
