"Spider-Man: Homecoming" was good and above all a lot of fun - but that's the only thing I can remember. That's one of the problems I have with the film. He doesn't really have a memorable scene except for the TASM #33 moment. Tom Holland isn't very convincing either as Spidey or as Peter Parker (Garfield was better as Spidey and Maguire as Parker) and the film lacks the grandeur of other Spidey stories. In the trailer for the sequel, he is already swinging through Manhattan, while climbing such a high-rise jungle could actually have been a character challenge. Manhattan and Spidey just go hand in hand - which is why I have big problems with this European setting.
Spidey's CGI suit also looks shitty again. Sure, they haven't finished rendering and it's just a trailer, but parts of the finished film were just incredibly ugly. Why is Marvel investing so much time and love into the exact implementation of the comic costumes when they are subsequently replaced by CGI junk?
