The trailer for "Terminator: Dark Fate" brings us back Linda Hamilton in her prime role as Sarah Connor. The poster already proves it, that the film does not focus on Arnold Schwarzenegger, but on Sarah - a fact that coincides with the statements of Deadpool director Tim Miller: "I love Arnold, but for me it has always been Sarah's story", the filmmaker confirmed in a recent interview.
Accordingly, we see them prominently in the first trailer for the reboot, which historically ties directly to the second part of the series. Paramount Pictures is paying a total of 200 million dollars for their comeback – even though the last two offshoots of the cult series fell well short of their financial potential. Whether Dark Fate can get the Terminator franchise back on the road to success will be found out on October 24, 2019, when Sarah Connor and her celebrity companions once again go to war against machines. Underlaid by Björk's "Hunter", the first trailer for the franchise reboot tells the story of how a cheeky, young Mexican girl named Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes) is pursued by a novel Terminator sent from the future. This in turn brings Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) and her brother, played by Diego Boneta, onto the scene.
