The clown from the independent horror film «Terrifier» invites us to get the creeps out again in a sequel that certainly didn't skimp on one thing; the use of lots of artificial blood! But will this part be more sinister than the first, which was let off the leash in 2016? In any case, director and screenwriter Damien Leone (Frankenstein vs. the Mummy, The 9th Circle) took quite a lot of time with the implementation of his sequel, which was a long time coming after all. He didn't stage any other project in between.
With a trailer for the British home entertainment launch on October 24, 2022, which shows the macabre clown scaring and killing, Leone now wants to show that the evil, smiling antagonist has meanwhile become even more ruthless and mean than he is it ever was! This time he's targeting a teenage girl and her little brother who are being stalked by this demonic horror on Halloween of all days. From now on, the kids have to go full throttle to banish the killer clown, who is portrayed by actor David Howard Thornton (Night of the Living Dead 2, Mistress Peace Theatre) as quite frightening, once and for all to the underworld.
Released on DVD and Blu-ray in 2018, the original film also follows the theme of Halloween night when Dawn and Tara run into the bloodied arms of the worst killer of all time. The two friends are looking for the best party in town when their way leads them to a small diner. No one suspects that a bloodthirsty killer is hiding behind the crazy clown masquerade when they ask Art the clown for a selfie. The evil killer clown found his next victims in the two young women. When their paths cross again that same night, horror begins for Dawn and Tara on earth.
