Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D is the direct successor to the original 1974 film, the remake of which brought Bumm Bumm Bay to cinemas in 2003 under the direction of German director Marcus Nispel. I'm deliberately ignoring the prequel from 2006 here. Already shot at the beginning of 2011, the successor should finally come to the cinemas in 2013 and in 3D. About the story: It tells the story of Heather, who travels to Texas with her friends in order to be able to take on her inheritance there. What I don't know at this point is that it is precisely this legacy that goes with the name Leatherface. Well, you can already guess in which direction it's going, unfortunately it looks very predictable and boring and pretty much irrelevant.
Directed by the actually unknown John Luessenhop, who was able to record respectable successes with "Takers" and "Lockdown". The cast is relatively unknown, but Bill Moseley stands out. If I remember correctly, he has only acted in horror films and in Rob Zombie's films "House of 1000 Corpses" and "The Devils Reject" the role of Otis B. Driftwood took over and also portrayed this character excellently. You've seen the other actors here and there, but you don't really need to know them. I'm actually really into this horror slasher stuff, but I'm not so sure about the film now, the trailer only offers standard fare and non-native 3D is for nothing anyway...
