After Corin Hardy finished work on The Conjuring spin-off The Nun, he is already preparing his next project. Of course, this is called «The Crow» and was created with none other than Jason Momoa (Aquaman, Game of Thrones). But while some are excited to see what Hardy makes of the classic, many fans of the original are against the remake, and Alex Proyas, who directed the original with Brandon Lee, is also against the project: "I had the privilege of working with Brandon Lee. He was a young, very talented actor with a great sense of humor and a bright future. I was even allowed to call him my friend. Our actor/director relationship was special. We made a film together that touched a lot of people.", describes Proyas via Facebook. "I left my name out of the credits and used Brandon Lee's instead. I wanted it to be his film because basically that was what he was and I knew he would never make another one. He put so much passion into the film that also became his legacy. It's a project I know he would be proud of." Alex Proyas continues: "I finished the film for Brandon. It was only thanks to our wonderful crew, who all loved him, that we were able to complete it without his presence. We were only able to do this because we were all inspired by his strength and spirit. And I don't just mean that in terms of his wonderful work as an actor or filmmaker, but in terms of him as a man whose humanity touched us all. Without him, "The Crow" would not have been a film worth remaking. Without his performance, hardly anyone would have found out about this little comic. This is Brandon's film. And I think in this particular case, Hollywood should just respect the work as the last will of a very talented man. No one should rewrite or add to this story. I know there were sequels and series.
