"Wolverine: Path of the Warrior" is one of the hotly anticipated films of this summer. Based on the comic, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), the most iconic character in the X-Men universe, to modern-day Japan. "The Wolverine" is chronologically classified after "X-Men: The Last Stand". Many of the key figures are dead and the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and Women is dissolved. Left to his own devices and searching for the meaning of his life in modern Japan, he has to face the battle with himself, his immortality and his equal mutant Silver Samurai.
Once again Hugh Jackman slips into the role of Wolverine and impresses with a body of steel that not many at 44 can show. His opponent Silver Samurai is Will Yun Lee, who may be known to some from "James Bond 007 - Die Another Day" and "Total Recall". Other actors include Rila Fukushima and Hiroyuki Sanada (Rush Hour 3, The Last Samurai). Story by Christopher McQuarrie. July 20, 2013 is supposed to be the day, because only then will we be able to see the film in cinemas.
