The drama in «The Walking Dead» only escalates as we get closer to the Season 6 finale. Episode 14 left us with quite a cliffhanger. How will the other residents of Alexandria react to the loss of two loved ones from their ranks? In addition, everything indicates that the fans have to say goodbye to an absolute favorite of the series. While another death seems imminent, other characters are in mortal danger. Here's what the promo and sneak peak video for episode 15 tell us.
Episode 15 "East" will be airing in a few days, making it the penultimate episode of the current 6th season. What a tragic loss our heroes had to endure in the past episode. It looks like things will continue dramatically after Denise's death. Alexandria is now without a doctor - and apparently also without a mother, because and that was the shocker at the end of the episode, our beloved Carol decided to leave the group on the grounds that she could no longer kill anyone and therefore no longer for her loved ones care for. This doesn't exactly make the rest of Rick's squad happy, as we can see in the promo video for the upcoming 15th episode. So we see Tobin, who shows Rick Carol's farewell letter with a serious face, whereupon Rick immediately gets into action: "When is she going?" he asks the visibly worried Tobin, who trudges behind him. "I don't know, sometime during the night, but I didn't hear that she left," he blurts out, while we already see images of a flat truck tire and a pointed stick of wood smeared with fresh blood, from which blood flows incessantly dripping on the tar floor...
Should we be really worried about Carol now? Could her comic death now catch up with her on the series? Recently on the AMC series, Carol has struggled mentally with the things she has done in the past. Again and again she tormented herself with the memory of the people who died at her hands. Is her condition so unstable that she might even harm herself? In the "Walking Dead" comics, Carol also suffers from depression, which ultimately takes her life. She starts talking to a walker and finally allows it to bite her on the neck. When the other survivors notice this, they immediately rush to Carol's side and want to help her, even if there is no rescue left - but Carol forbids them. She knows that her injury will bleed to death within a very short time and she welcomes her death. Will the same fate befall Carol in the TV series?
Meanwhile, Daryl seeks revenge and sets off alone on his motorcycle in search of the Saviors who killed Denise. Rosita, Glenn and Michonne don't let Daryl go alone and give chase. Apparently, the trio also manage to catch up with Daryl, but they can't get him to turn back. Finally, Rosita agrees to accompany Daryl in the search for Dwight. Michonne and Glenn plan to return home, but unfortunately they don't get far when Dwight's men find and overpower them. While searching for Dwight, Rosita and Daryl eventually find their friends bound and gagged. Glenn tries to signal them that it's a trap, but too late. Suddenly, Dwight appears behind them. He shoots Daryl and blood splatters on the camera lens - the episode ends without us knowing how Daryl is doing and if he will survive the shot! This is what should happen in the 15th episode of season 6, if you can believe the news from the US fan site "The Spoiling Dead Fans". Even if he survives the shot, that doesn't mean he's safe. Dwight could bring the injured Daryl to his leader, Negan - and then Daryl's last hour might have really come.
Meanwhile, Morgan and Rick search for Carol. As the two men follow their trail, Carol finds herself in a dangerous situation. She also falls into the clutches of a group of Saviors. Although she can wrap some of them around her finger with her tried and tested trick as a helpless, elderly lady and thus easily kill them. But everything indicates that Carol herself was badly injured in the altercation. In the episode, fans are even said to get a glimpse of a walker that looks like her — but isn't supposed to be Carol. How badly she is injured remains uncertain for the time being. Obviously AMC wants to double tease us and the song "It's All Over" by Johnny Cash will do its part. Whether Carol and Daryl will survive the 6th season of "The Walking Dead" we will probably only find out in the dramatic finale of the zombie series.
