The end is coming, the baby boomers are leaving. There are two compelling reasons for a coming era of poverty, crises and wars. The deglobalization caused by the end of the Pax Americana has been analyzed many times. This could theoretically be avoided. But the baby boomer shock is inevitably coming our way. Globally, almost all of the baby boomer generation will be retiring in the next 5 years. This means that a unique generation is leaving the global labor market.
After World War II, there was a brief overlap between modern (bio)technology & pronatalist, archaic family structure in almost all Western and Asian countries. That means lots of children as a value, good medicine, living space and plenty of food = baby boom.
Der Effekt verschwand überall rasch, nachdem sich die Bevölkerung an den modernen, urbanen, antinatalistischen Lebensstil angepasst hatte (Pillenknick). Dennoch erzeugten die Masse an Kindern demographische «Beulen». Sie schufen den modernen Wohlstand.
Es war die grösste, bestausgebildetste, «Workforce» der Menschheitsgeschichte, mit hohem IQ, der besten Arbeitsmentalität, bestehend aus Weissen und Ostasiaten. Qualität und Quantität. Die Beule wanderte nach oben und sie gehen in Rente und werden zu reinen Konsumenten.
Die Weltbevölkerung wächst zwar, aber verschiebt sich. Was nachkommt sind Low IQ Youth Buldges aus Failed States. Diese überfluten das industrielle Zentrum der Industrialisierungsnationen und bringen den «failure» ihrer Failed States mit.
All of this means in summary: There is a lack of qualified specialists everywhere to keep the gigantic technosphere alive that the baby boomers have given us. Automation and increased productivity are probably not enough.
Dazu kommt, dass die reichen Babyboomer bei der Pensionierung ihr Geld aus den (Risiko-) Kapitalmärkten nehmen. Das bremst Innovationen weiter massiv aus. Die «Velocity» des Kapitals bricht ein. Märkte, die auf ständiges Wachstum getrimmt sind, geraten in Panik. Niemand kann etwas dagegen tun.Selbst wenn wir jetzt massiv in Nachwuchs in westlichen Staaten investieren und Remigration einleiten. Es braucht 25-30 Jahre bis diese Kinder arbeitsfähig sind. Es kommen harte Dekaden, voller harter Entscheidungen auf uns zu.
Western states are running out of funds to bribe imported clans and pacify ethnic tensions. The infrastructure is crumbling. Distribution struggles arise. Welcome to the 21st century! Welcome to the era of poverty!
