With «Blade Of The Immortal», legendary director Takashi Miike («13 Assassins», «Audition») presents his incredible 100th directorial work, according to the trailer and IMDb. For this he has once again devoted himself to the adaptation of a manga. A crazy samurai battle festival, a sword fighting epic that knows how to impress with all sorts of violent peaks. Many years ago, the samurai Manji (Takuya Kimura) was cursed with immortality, which he can only break after killing enough evil men. So it's actually quite convenient that one day he is visited by the young Rin (Hana Sugisaki) and hired as a bodyguard. So he should protect her on her revenge campaign against the henchmen of the unscrupulous Anotsu (Sôta Fukushi), who has her family on his conscience. "Blade Of The Immortal" has not yet had a regular theatrical release in our latitudes...
It takes a lot of strength to show feelings that can be ridiculed.

It should be clear that running dravenstales.ch takes a lot of time and costs. To cover costs and maybe a free drink or two, I could plaster the whole place with advertising. But I like my readers, which is why I want to offer them a (largely) ad-free reading experience. If you like what's going on and/or what's going on on this website, then it would be nice if you somehow shared the fun here would support, Thank you!
