Ein gigantisches Monster taucht plötzlich nachts aus dem Nichts auf, verwüstet die Stadt und verschwindet wieder in der Dunkelheit. Als die rätselhaften Angriffe sich wiederholen, stellen sich alle die Frage, welchen Ursprung die Attacken haben könnten. Zur gleichen Zeit in den USA: Das Partygirl Gloria hat ihren Job verloren und wird von ihrem Freund Tim vor die Tür gesetzt. Gloria kehrt kurzerhand dem New Yorker Stadtleben den Rücken und zieht zurück in ihr Heimatstädtchen, um sich dort darüber klar zu werden, ob sie weiterhin ihre Zeit in schäbigen Bars verschwenden oder ihr Leben endlich verändern will. Die Entscheidung wird ihr abgenommen, als sie entsetzt feststellt, dass es eine Verbindung zwischen ihr und den Vorfällen in Seoul gibt: Das Ungeheuer reagiert auf Glorias Bewegungen! Godzilla und Nacho Vigalondos neue Regiearbeit «Colossal» waren sich zunächst so ähnlich, dass eine Konzeptvorstellung beim Filmmarkt in Cannes sogar die Rechtsabteilung von Godzilla-Studio Toho auf den Plan rief. Der finale Film hat, mal abgesehen von der Tatsache, dass in beiden ein haushohes Monster vorkommt, aber nur noch wenig mit dem grossen Vorbild gemein. Sogar die Handlung wurde von Japan nach Südkorea verlegt, um Missverständnisse auszuschliessen. Welche Gemeinsamkeiten jetzt noch geblieben sind, dürfte die Heimkino-Premiere am 1. Dezember klären.

My blog was never designed to spread news, let alone get political, but with current affairs I just can't help but capture information here that is otherwise censored on all other channels. I am aware that the design page may not seem "serious" to many in this regard, but I will not change this to please the "mainstream". Anyone who is open to non-state-compliant information sees the content and not the packaging. I've tried enough to provide people with information over the last 2 years, but quickly noticed that it never matters how it's "packaged", but what the other person's attitude towards it is. I don't want to put honey on anyone's mouth to meet expectations in any way, so I'll keep this design because hopefully at some point I'll be able to stop making these political statements, because it's not my goal to go on like this forever
