Fantasy lovers and bookworms may know Nikolai Gogol's short story. The map-maker Jonathan Green (Jason Flemyng) set out in the 18th century to be the first to measure the entire circumference of the earth. After traveling through Transylvania and the Carpathian Mountains, however, he soon finds himself lost in a small village in the middle of impenetrable forests where thick fog seems to be the norm. The residents look different from any people the traveler has ever met. Outwardly, the not exactly helpful people are more like pirates and are also convinced that they can protect themselves from all evil. Jonathan, however, soon realizes that a dark force has long since taken possession of the souls of the inhabitants and is just waiting to pour out into the world ...

It should be clear that running dravenstales.ch takes a lot of time and costs. To cover costs and maybe a free drink or two, I could plaster the whole place with advertising. But I like my readers, which is why I want to offer them a (largely) ad-free reading experience. If you like what's going on and/or what's going on on this website, then it would be nice if you somehow shared the fun here would support, Thank you!
