Ok, the trailer looks a bit like the typical "tweens illegally go into a dark cave and die a horrible death" movie, but it gets pretty cool at the latest when you look at the mask of the first corpse creature, that's a bit ahead stutters. It's no coincidence that the film was directed by Hiroshi Katagiri, who is otherwise known for all sorts of effects. However, films by special effects people often have the problem that they are sometimes not particularly good in terms of story. But I have a pretty good feeling about this:
Encompassing horror, suspense and a twist that will blow your mind, Gehenna fixes on five people who enter a hidden bunker from WW2, and realize it's way more than a bunker. Some fates are MUCH worse than death.
Sounds interesting, just like the cast sounds interesting. Because there will be people like Doug Jones (he just always plays some monster) and Lance Henriksen (Bishop from «Alien») and I imagine that they are not fooling around. The film is now supposed to be passed around at a few horror film festivals in the USo&A, releases are unfortunately not yet known. Probably then on VoD and DVD. Sometime. Perhaps…
