A full seven years after «Shin Godzilla», Japanese film and theater production company Tōhō is back on the scene with a brand new and action-packed chapter. The company announced that the next film will be called "Godzilla Minus One" and will be released in Japanese theaters on December 1, 2023. Parallel to the announcement of the launch date, Tōhō also released a very first teaser, which is only 34 seconds long, but still offers more than just lettering and a look at the title character. So the giant lizard is coming back soon!
After «Shin Godzilla» it was the Americans who conjured up the legendary cult brand on the big screen time and time again. Godzilla II: King of the Monsters was the direct sequel to the 2014 reboot Godzilla, directed by Krampus and Trick 'r Treat director Michael Dougherty.
