In the psychological horror drama “The Clovehitch Killer,” “American Horror Story” star Dylan McDermott could have a lot of dirt on his hands. The film tells the story of the young and kind-hearted scout Tyler, who was raised by a poor but very happy family in a small religious town. But when he finds out one day that his father Don, played by Dylan McDermott (Mercy, American Horror Story), is hiding disturbing pornography, Tyler fears that his father might be the infamous Clovehitch murderer , who was never caught. To get to the bottom of the matter, he confides in his best friend Kassi, who is obsessed with the legendary Clovehitch case. But this is the only way Tyler (Charlie Plummer) can find out the truth and save the rest of his family. Now “The Clovehitch Killer”, which celebrated its world premiere on September 22nd, 2018 at the Los Angeles Film Festival, is also making its way to our latitudes. However, the detour via cinemas will be avoided and the psychological thriller will be released directly on DVD and Blu-ray Disc in German stores on August 1, 2019.
