Here is the new, exciting trailer for the upcoming horror film "The Conjuring" by horror expert James Wan. The name of the screenwriter and actor Leigh Whannell is always mentioned in connection with the name of the director. Since the two had great success with "Saw" 9 years ago, they can hardly be stopped. Mainly active in the horror genre, they set new accents and let genre fans look forward to their latest works with great anticipation. "Conjuring - Die Heimsuchung", however, is one of the few projects that they did not do together. Only James Wan sat down in the director's chair and once again tried to deliver us creepy horror fare in the style of his box office hit «Insidious». Friends of cultivated horror horror can look forward to the film Conjuring. Even if the trailer is a bit over the top as interview snippets with the real Perron family have been added. As the trailer shows right at the beginning, the film is based on real events. Since this isn't taken so seriously these days, James Wan goes one step further and reveals with the interview: "Look, here's the proof that things in the film actually happened!" Everyone has to decide for themselves whether this makes the film better. The film will be in cinemas in August and that's not all, "Insidious 15" will start on September 2th, which will bring James Wan and Leigh Whannell back together.
Conjuring is about the extended Perron family, consisting of mother (Lili Taylor), father (Ron Livingston) and five daughters who move into the remote farmhouse in New England. But apparently they are not alone: a strange and increasingly evil power lives among them and makes a normal life impossible. In desperation, they turn to the renowned couple Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga), who are considered experts in the field of exorcism. But their initial sovereignty gives way to pure fear when they realize what evil forces they are dealing with here.
