The three-part horror mini-series The Enfield Haunting delves deeply into what is widely considered to be the best-known and best-documented paranormal encounter in Britain. The BAFTA Award-nominated show takes viewers back to 24s London. This is where single mother Peggy Hodgson lives with her children. Her life runs in tranquil paths until suddenly horrible things happen. Eleven-year-old Janet seems to be at the center of the inexplicable events. Deeply frightened, the family no longer knows what to do and seeks help from professionals. They conduct experiments and set up a camera in Janet's room. Gradually, the suspicion that it could be a poltergeist is confirmed. "The Enfield Haunting" was broadcast on Arte to coincide with Halloween and will now be available in German stores on February 2017, XNUMX. The three-parter is occupied by Eleanor Worthington-Cox (Maleficient) as Janet Hodgson. The two ghostbusters are portrayed by well-known faces of British acting: Timothy Spall (Mr. Turner, Harry Potter) plays amateur researcher Maurisse Grosse and Matthew Macfadyen (The Trapp Family, Anna Karenina) plays Guy Playfair.
Everyone is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.
