The trailer for «The Shape of Water», a love story filmed by Guillermo del Toro, seems like a mixture of «BioShock», «The Horror of the Amazon» and «Hellboy» and has little to do with the romantic off-the-shelf that Hollywood has for us usually proposes. It also fits that the film was released with an R rating, which rather speaks against a leisurely, contemplative impact. «The Shape of Water» is about the deaf-mute employee of an underground laboratory who helps an amphibious captive man escape. But is their growing affection equal to the dangers lurking there? «The Shape of Water» is set against the background of the Cold War. Well-known actors such as Sally Hawkins, Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Doug Jones (Crimson Peak), Michael Stuhlbarg and Octavia Spencer have ended up there. The film will be available in US cinemas from December this year, and the film will be released in Germany on February 15, 2018.
The truth is not a whore
who throws herself at them,
which of them do not desire;
rather she is such a brittle beauty
that even whoever sacrifices everything
cannot yet be certain of her favor.

It should be clear that running dravenstales.ch takes a lot of time and costs. To cover costs and maybe a free drink or two, I could plaster the whole place with advertising. But I like my readers, which is why I want to offer them a (largely) ad-free reading experience. If you like what's going on and/or what's going on on this website, then it would be nice if you somehow shared the fun here would support, Thank you!
