What awaits our survivors tomorrow Monday in Episode 11 of «The Walking Dead» Season 6? After the hopeful moments of the last episode, the upcoming episode seems to get down to business again. Here's what the promo video and the first two sneak peeks tell us about "Knots Untie".
In the previous 10th episode we experienced a leap in time of several weeks and our survivors had already left the tragic events of the midseason premiere behind them. So we witnessed a rather relaxed and almost “normal” everyday life in the recently overrun community. A little bit of normality before things get going again soon! The highlights of the episode were certainly the surprising Richonne love story and the arrival of Jesus, a nimble and shrewd survivor who allowed himself to have fun with Rick and Daryl. The promo video for the upcoming 11th episode tells us that Jesus will lead a group around Rick to his home community, the Hilltop Colony, although there will obviously be some dangers lurking on the way there ...
The first two sneak peeks tell us what's going on in Alexandria. So we overhear a conversation between Abraham and Sasha. As we saw in the first half of Season 6, when the two of them walker-weglock together, Abraham seems to have taken a liking to his new fighting partner and has quite obviously flirted with her at times! But Sasha doesn't seem too keen on Abraham so obviously courting her, so she tells him that she's changed shifts and will patrol Eugene with Abraham from now on. "Yeah, see you then, Abe" - that's what you call a rejection, dear Mr. Ford!
We also see Glenn and his pregnant wife at night at a vegetable patch in Alexandria, where Maggie seems to be very concerned that the tomato plants aren't growing at all. So the community is slowly but surely running out of supplies and after Rick and Daryl, thanks to Jesus, risked their loot so carelessly in the last episode, there should soon be serious problems within the walls of Alexandria. «Babe, this will grow. We'll manage!" says Glenn to his visibly worried wife, while we're not even sure if he's really just talking about the tomato plants. A moment later, the two are alarmed by a noise - and they don't seem to be the only ones, as we see Denise jumping up the stairs in front of the armory and pantry, where she encounters Abraham, who immediately follows her down in a hurry.
There still seem to be a few small and large problems for Rick & Co. to come. As we saw at the start of Season 6, the hunger and food distribution practices alone should already cause quite a stir, which could possibly make Leader Rick reconsider his happy supply-run tactics at Daryl's side. How do the residents of Alexandria manage to secure their supply in the long term? This seems to be one of the central concerns of the upcoming episodes. But Rick & Co. also have to be careful not to become a dangerous group that loses all scruples. We're excited to see how the first meeting with Hilltop will go! Especially because Rick actor Andrew Lincoln already spoke of a "clash of communities"...
A new storyline was also briefly mentioned in the 10th episode, which hopefully will not be neglected in the next episodes. Denise mentions to Daryl that Tara and Heath will be leaving Alexandria shortly for two weeks to look for supplies! Nothing good has ever happened outside of the wall until now and now not only are the zombies a constant threat, but Negan's people - and Negan himself - who could show up at any time. The trailer for the 11th episode shows us one thing above all else: Rick's group and Jesus set off for the community that is not unlike Alexandria - the Hilltop Colony. Tara and Heath are not seen in the small group that follows Jesus. You may start your search for supplies at this point. The perfect storyline that runs in the background and could bring us a little closer to Negan. Because we must not forget: there was a spoiler in December that revealed the death of a female character. Daryl then seeks revenge and goes in search of Dwight and the rest of the Saviors.
After several weeks have passed in the time jump between episode 9 and episode 10, Negan should already know what happened to the biker gang. Perhaps his people are now looking for the culprits and will meet Tara and Heath. Two unknown survivors who are extremely well armed with weapons. If Tara is killed in an altercation - perhaps even with Daryl's stolen crossbow - we may have found our missing piece of the puzzle. After all, actress Alanna Masterson is said not to have been seen on the set since filming the 14th episode.
