The new horror story from director Jeff Wadlow (who directed the slasher Cry_Wolf) gives the infamous “devilish grin” a whole new meaning. Because no matter where leading actress Lucy Hale (Scream 4, Pretty Little Liars) looks, the same frightening faces have been following her everywhere since a fateful game of “Truth or Dare”. In the latest production from horror experts Blumhouse Productions (Happy Deathday), a group of young students are caught up in a supernatural game with death. California college student Olivia is reluctant to let her best friend Markie convince her to spend her last spring break before graduating in Mexico. Once there, her concerns are quickly forgotten and she celebrates with joy with her friends. During a night of partying, she meets the charming Carter, who leads the group to a mysterious cave and persuades them to play the party game “Truth or Dare”. The initially funny mood quickly changes when Carter starts talking about a curse. Back in California, Olivia has almost forgotten the incident when she receives eerie messages asking her to choose between Truth or Dare. At first she hopes it's all just her imagination, but then she realizes that she has to follow the rules in order to survive. “Truth or Dare” becomes an inescapable reality: anyone who doesn’t tell the truth or refuses a test of courage dies a brutal death. The only way out is for the friends to stick together and find out what happened long ago in the cave in Mexico. The fight for survival begins on cinema screens in this country from May 10, 2018...
