Here's another trailer for the «Blade Runner» sequel that still looks amazing and will finally be out on October 6th. Filmmaker Denis Villeneuve, meanwhile, has come to terms with the fact that his sequel to Ridley Scott's cult classic Blade Runner couldn't possibly please and excite all of his old fans. The basic situation is very different this time: Rick Deckard, played by Harrison Ford, has been on the run for decades and is finally tracked down by a new LAPD officer named K, played by Hollywood rising star Ryan Gosling (La La Land). What brings them together and what mystery they are both trying to get to the bottom of will be revealed at the upcoming theatrical release this fall. In terms of images and sound, the film definitely has me already. You just have to get the story right. But since it is linked to the first part by Ridley Scott and it has been a good read so far, I am not really worried:
Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos. K's discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
