The 7th season of "The Walking Dead" starts with the shocking Death of two main characters. Negan broke Rick and usurped power. So much happened in the first episode that small details may have disappeared completely when they were seen once. We have gathered interesting elements from the start of the 1th season for you and explain how things will continue.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7: You may have missed these details in episode 1 so dramatically it continues

The undead have lost none of their fascination even seven years after they first appeared. The hit series proved this on Sunday and Monday at the start of the 7th season. The viewers showed considerable interest and gave the format its highest value since the launch of Season 5 in 2014. With 17 million viewers, "The Walking Dead" then just missed the all-time record. The interest in the walking undead is unbroken, even if the horror hit had to struggle with slightly declining ratings last year. However, Negan's arrival seems to have captivated a particularly large number of former viewers, and there is no end in sight to the dramatic events. So it's no wonder that AMC recently confirmed production of an eighth season, which, as usual, will start in the fall of 2017.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7: You may have missed these details in episode 1 so dramatically it continues

The start of the 7th season of the US series began with what is possibly the darkest and bloodiest episode of all time. The survivors, whom we have been able to accompany in their fight against the zombies for years, have found their personal boss. Negan and his Saviors are the new omnipresent threat, even rivaling the walkers. In the season 7 premiere, Negan killed two main characters at once: Abraham and Glenn. Due to all the drama, however, certain small details may have been completely lost. Here are some observations we made during the episode. «The Walking Dead» may have lost two characters in season 7, but it also gained an exciting main character. Negan is now an integral part of the cast. So it wasn't a big surprise to see his name in the intro, along with the scene to go with it: an old-fashioned iron heating up in a roaring fire. A nod to a famous scene from the comics. When we first meet Dwight on the show, he's just escaped from the Sanctuary and from Negan. The next time they meet, his face is suddenly disfigured. The story behind it, which has not yet been told in the series: After Dwight's return to Negan, he is punished by the leader of the Saviors. Negan puts the hot potato in Dwight's face so that when he looks in the mirror he never forgets what awaits him if he disobeys.

In the sixth season «The Walking Dead», Rick's squad explore a base of the Saviors for the first time. Ironically, Glenn discovers a collection of gruesome photographs on a wall. They all show victims of Negan having their heads bashed in with Lucille. While the group is still in shock in the first episode of season 6, the Saviors can be seen retreating in the background. One of them makes the rounds with his camera, photographing the crushed head of Glenn's body. A memory for Negan and another photo for the wall. It wouldn't be a surprise if the image reappears in a later episode, such as tormenting Daryl at the Sanctuary. As they all hit rock bottom, a vision suddenly crops up in Rick's mind: what if the group from Alexandria had never encountered Negan and his people? He imagines a small, private garden party in Alexandria. Glenn and Abraham are still alive. They all laugh and are carefree. It's a scene we may never see in The Walking Dead. Because we're all too focused on Glenn and Maggie's son, one small detail is almost lost: Sasha's baby bump showing beneath her shirt. Had they never met Negan, Abraham and Sasha would have started a family. Or is Sasha even pregnant?

Anyone who knows Robert Kirkman's comics already knows that an interesting Negan / Carl storyline awaits us in the new episodes. In the season 6 finale, Negan made it abundantly clear that he likes Carl in a strange way. He is impressed by how ice cold and strong the youngest of the group is. Negan teases Carl by calling him a future serial killer. And indeed, while Glenn is being killed, we see the reactions on each other's faces. Everyone is upset and crying. Even on Daryl's face there is pure despair. Only in Carl's face can you see a completely different emotion: abysmal hatred. No fear. Maybe a single tear. But most of all anger and hatred. What is this hatred going to do to Carl?

Glenn manages to say a few last words to Maggie: "Maggie, I'll find you." And Abraham? He seems to accept his death without comment, only throws a disparaging remark at Negan. At the same time, Abraham said goodbye to the woman he loved. But the scene is so brief that many fans have overlooked it. Just before he is killed by Negan, Abraham makes the peace sign in Sasha's direction. It's his way of saying goodbye to her. Now some fans will be wondering: Why didn't he just look at her and say goodbye like Glenn did to Maggie? Why did Abraham look back at Negan instead and just make the peace sign with his left hand? The answer lies in the season 6 finale, where we see the final seconds through the victim's eyes. The victim looks straight at Negan and accepts his own death. Because that moment was already in the can, you couldn't deviate in Season 7. If Abraham had turned his head to exchange one last look with Sasha, it should have been seen in the POV scene in the season finale. So Michael Cudlitz had no choice but to look ahead and meet Negan's gaze. Despite this, he insisted that Abraham say goodbye to Sasha in a covert way.

According to "The Talking Dead", moderator Chris Hardwick spoiled the future of Maggie Greene, who did not end her own life after Glenn's death. On the contrary, in the comics she leaves Alexandria and becomes the new leader of the Hilltop Colony. So far there have been no signs that this storyline will also be implemented in the TV series. But Lauren Cohan's annoyed facial expression in "The Talking Dead" spoke volumes. Apparently, she wasn't happy that her character's future was casually spoilered to an audience of millions. A day before the season 7 premiere, a video surfaced on the web saying showing Maggie's death. But what is behind it? AMC has obviously shot longer death scenes for each character to make a leak more difficult. The shown, short death scenes of all characters caused a lot of confusion among the fans. Background to the overlay: Negan reminds Rick what could happen if he doesn't obey him. Rick imagines that if he defies Negan, more friends could die. The scenes follow him as he makes his way back to the trailer to bring back the ax.

But what can we expect in the new episode? On the one hand, we find out how things will go with Daryl Dixon. At the side of Daryl, we can take a look at the Sanctuary for the first time, the base of the Saviors. Difficult times lie ahead: Daryl is one of many other slaves that Negan keeps like dogs. Meanwhile, Rick and his people in Alexandria hardly have time to breathe: Negan announces himself. He visits the small community of survivors to claim his property and take what he wants. Thanks to snapshots from filming, we already know that an interesting scene from the comics will appear in the series: Negan forces Rick to carry Lucille and follow him as he strolls through Alexandria like a god. After the ax scene, Negan plays with the former sheriff one more time and does everything to humiliate him and to remind him that he is worthless.

But where are Carol and Morgan? We also find out in the new episodes. In the season 6 finale, they were rescued by two unidentified men in strange armor. In season 7 we see which group the strangers belong to. Fans of the comics already know: the two men belong to "The Kingdom", a large, well-organized society that is led by King Ezekiel. And by Ezekiel's side is a real tiger named Shiva. The only question left is, are we really seeing all of this in one episode? Some fans suspect - based on the shooting - that we will only get to know the "Kingdom" in Episode 3. Episode 2 should therefore mainly focus on the Sanctuary and Daryl Dixon. Especially after the season opener, it would be interesting to see how Negan and his men tick. For now, however, this is just speculation. What exactly awaits us next week of the 2nd episode will probably only become apparent on Monday evening. FOX airs the new episode at 21.00 p.m. Unlike the premiere, there will be no broadcast in the early hours of the morning.

"Dravens Tales from the Crypt" has been enchanting for over 15 years with a tasteless mixture of humor, serious journalism - for current events and unbalanced reporting in the press politics - and zombies, garnished with lots of art, entertainment and punk rock. Draven has turned his hobby into a popular brand that cannot be classified.

My blog was never designed to spread news, let alone get political, but with current affairs I just can't help but capture information here that is otherwise censored on all other channels. I am aware that the design page may not seem "serious" to many in this regard, but I will not change this to please the "mainstream". Anyone who is open to non-state-compliant information sees the content and not the packaging. I've tried enough to provide people with information over the last 2 years, but quickly noticed that it never matters how it's "packaged", but what the other person's attitude towards it is. I don't want to put honey on anyone's mouth to meet expectations in any way, so I'll keep this design because hopefully at some point I'll be able to stop making these political statements, because it's not my goal to go on like this forever ;) I leave it up to everyone how they deal with it.
